Does Look Twice tell me a food is safe?
No — and that's on purpose. Look Twice never tells you food is safe. It tells you exactly what allergen words it found, and shows you where they appear in the ingredient list, so you can make the call. For a serious allergy, always verify the label yourself.
Which allergens does it check?
All 9 FDA major allergens — milk, egg, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts, wheat, soybeans, and sesame — plus the hidden names they hide behind, from whey to albumin to tahini. You choose which ones matter for each child.
Do I need an account or internet connection?
Neither. There's no account to create and nothing to sign in to. Everything runs on your phone, so it works in a grocery basement with zero signal. Nothing you scan ever leaves your device.
Can I add more than one child?
Yes. Each child gets their own set of allergens and their own verdict on every scan — Emma's eggs and Jake's tree nuts each get answered separately.
Is there a subscription?
No. Look Twice is one price, once, forever. The only transaction is your App Store purchase, handled entirely by Apple.
How is my data handled?
Look Twice collects nothing — no accounts, no analytics, no data leaves your device. Read the full privacy policy.
